
In pursuit of Nobel: Short stories form around the world.
Come one come all Verona Publishing is announcing a world wide call for short stories.
There will be three short story contests for works of 2500 words or less.
The works must be in English and is open to writers through out the world. There is no fee to enter and the authors of the winning stories shall receive 100 US dollars.
The first short story contest will begin January 10th, 2007 and end February 25th, 2007 at 11:59p.m.
The Second short story contest will begin March 1st, 2007 and end April 15th, 2007 at 11:59p.m.
The Third short story contest will begin May 20th, 2007 and end July 5th, 2007 at 11:59p.m.
All stories received before or after the start or end of the contest will not be eligible for the 100 dollars but may still be eligible to be published in a book by Verona Publishing.
Note all stories must be typed and emailed to Verona by the dates specified. Stories submitted more than once will be disqualified. All stories submitted must be the work of the author submitting them.
Further by submitting your work the author gives Verona permission to use the submitted work in a collection of short stories.
Note authors of all short stories selected to be in Verona's short story collection will receive an annual royalty. Further information about royalties will be provided upon acceptance of your work for inclusion.
